Born from a Childhood Memory

At seven years old, sitting on the front of my mother’s bicycle in Hanoi, the first bowl of Phở I remember wasn’t just food — it was warmth, safety, and home.
That memory followed me across oceans, through struggle, and into the life I’m building today.
Hanoi at Home is my way of sharing that feeling with you.
Hanoi at Home is more than phở.
It’s the feeling of home.

Good Pho Starts With Good Bones
My mother didn’t have much, but she always chose ingredients with care.
The bones always came first — the rest followed.
We still do it the same way.
Handed Down Through Generations
These aren’t restaurant recipes.
They’re the recipes of my childhood —
of Hanoi winters, my mother’s voice,
and the broth that warmed everything

Warmth. Memory. Home.
Life moves fast —
but comfort doesn’t have to.
What my mother gave me —
a pause, a breath, a bowl that felt like safety —
is the heart of Hanoi at Home.
